The Devlin 2022

THE DEVLIN 2022 ENTRY INFORMATION

June 3rd - 5th, 2022

The 44-team field will be comprised of up to 34 CANNON and up to 16 SABER (Age 50+) teams. Unless exempt, all entries are subject to an eligibility review and acceptance by The Devlin Tournament Committee.

Saber teams will be limited to a combined maximum USGA handicap of 9.0 and both players must be 50 years old by 5/31/2022. Cannon teams will be a combined maximum USGA handicap of 7.0 and both players must be 25 years of age by 5/31/2022.

1. You are receiving this email because you have been invited to register for The Devlin 2022. If your team was selected for The Devlin 2021, and you meet the criteria, your team will qualify for extemption for the 2022 Field. Once the teams from The Devlin 2021 have registered and confirmed, the remaining spots for the field and waitlist will be filled by the tournament committee selection process. (New teams will need to fulfill b. and c.)
   1. Return to play with the same partner as in 2021.
   2. Create a login name and password in the new database and have your individual information updated and complete, this includes GHIN number, Handicap and golf resume. If you have not received an email to create/ update your account, please contact Julie Devlin ASAP - info@thedevlin.org or 757-287-2919. (*Please note - we have worked hard to create a pain free registration. All we will need is your name, partner's name, and guest name(s); IF you have updated your profile.) If you have not, it may impact your registration and spot in the field for the tournament.
   3. Completed and submitted online registration by February 28, 2022.
2. Note the following for registration: 
   1. Each Player can register and pay individually. If you choose to register and pay for your team (2 Players), make sure you choose the correct payment amount and ticket options. Please check the boxes RETURNING PLAYER and RETURNING PARTNER, if you played in 2021. All other information needed will be captured from the player profile. If either of you are bringing a Guest, please have guest name(s) and choose the guest ticket option for each. You will need this information to complete registration.
   2. Forms of payment accepted: American Express, Visa, MasterCard and Discover.
   3. During the registration process you will have the option to support Bruce Devlin and The Devlin Foundation’s mission of giving with a focus on Junior Golf and make a tax-deductible contribution.
3. If you are a requesting to bring a new partner, please have them go to www.thedevlin.org - The Devlin - tournament details - click on the invite/player account request. An email will be sent for them to create a profile online. They will need to upload their golf resume and any amateur golf highlights they would like to be considered. Your team will be subject for review by the Tournament Committee.
4. Rooming will be assigned in the following manner: Exempt players will be granted accommodation requests on a first registered basis. If you have stayed in a certain cottage in the past, we will make every effort to reserve the same, please make sure it is noted in your profile. First registered basis will be decided by the date and time you submit your online registration.
5. If your team qualifies for the field, you will receive an email Mid-March confirming your entry and accommodations for 2022.

The full field will be posted to our website by April 1, 2022.
